AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF HUBBARDSTON TO CONVEY A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding chapter 30B of the General Laws but subject to paragraphs (a), (b) and (g) of section 16 of said chapter 30B, the town of Hubbardston may convey to Pierre A. Vincent, trustee of the Vincent Family 2008 Irrevocable Trust, a certain parcel of land containing 5.09 acres, more or less, located on Ragged Hill road and shown on assessors map 2 as lot 33 and described in a deed recorded with the Worcester district registry of deeds in book 4420, page 244. The land is currently under the care, custody and control of the board of selectmen.
(b) As consideration for the conveyance authorized in subsection (a), Pierre A. Vincent, trustee of the Vincent Family 2008 Irrevocable Trust, shall convey to the town a certain parcel of land, containing 4.82 acres, more or less, located on Gardner road and shown on assessors map 5C as lot 125 and described in a deed recorded with the Worcester district registry of deeds in book 42669, page 1. Once acquired by the town, the parcel shall be used for general municipal purposes.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
