AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND IN THE TOWN OF NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Subject to chapter 30B of the General Laws, the board of selectmen of the town of North Attleborough may sell, convey or otherwise dispose of a certain parcel of land located at 616 Towne street which is shown as lot 13A of block 13 on assessors’ map 16 and which was granted to the town by Virginia M. Graham in a deed recorded with the Bristol county registry of deeds in book 12323, page 185.

SECTION 2. If the board of selectmen of the town of North Attleborough sells, conveys or otherwise disposes of the parcel of land described in section 1, the sale, conveyance or disposition shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement entered into by the North Attleborough conservation commission and Virginia M. Graham at the time of the conveyance of the parcel to the town, as amended. The net proceeds from the sale, conveyance or disposition of the parcel shall be deposited into the Thomas C. Graham Memorial Trust and shall be used only for the preservation and maintenance of land donated to the town by Virginia Graham for conservation purposes in accordance with the terms and conditions of the trust.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
