AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE MILFORD WATER COMPANY BY THE TOWN OF MILFORD
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Milford may incur debt in accordance with section 8 of chapter 44 of the General Laws for a period of not more than 40 years in order to purchase and establish a system for supplying the town and its inhabitants with water.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
