The 192nd General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith the Nickerson State Park Trust Fund, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

No expenditure made from the fund shall cause the fund to become deficient at any point during a fiscal year.

The additional money collected from the surcharge shall be deposited into the Nickerson State Park Trust Fund.

(c) An annual report, which shall include projects undertaken, expenditures made and income received by the fund, shall be submitted to the clerks of the senate and house of representatives and to the house and senate committees on ways and means not later than December 31.
