AN ACT ALLOWING THE CITY OF WESTFIELD TO SET THE SALARY OF THE CITY CLERK AS THE CLERK OF THE CITY COUNCIL THROUGH LOCAL PROCESS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the city of Westfield may set the salary of the city clerk serving as the clerk of the city council through the local process of salary and stipend increases.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
