AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE SWANSEA WATER DISTRICT ELECTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 9 of chapter 137 of the acts of 1949, as amended by section 1 of chapter 119 of the acts of 2005, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 10 and 11, the words “and at every annual district meeting following such next succeeding annual district meeting” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- thereafter, an annual election shall be held on the same date, time and place as the annual town of Swansea election at which.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
