AN ACT ALLOWING THE TOWN OF WILLIAMSTOWN TO REDUCE THE REQUISITE AGE OF ELIGIBILITY FOR SENIOR PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Williamstown may, by vote of town meeting, reduce the requisite age of eligibility below the age of 65 for the senior property tax exemption in clause Forty-first C of section 5 of chapter 59 of the General Laws.
