AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF BARNSTABLE TO CONVEY CERTAIN CONSERVATION LAND.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Barnstable may sell, lease or transfer care, custody and control of a certain parcel of conservation land located in the town to the Marstons Mills Public Library, Inc. to be used for library purposes.

The parcel is shown as the "Library Site" on a plan entitled "Plan of Land in Barnstable (Marstons Mills) Ma. showing proposed site for Marstons Mills Public Library", dated June 15, 2000, which plan is on file with the town clerk of the town of Barnstable.
