AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF TYNGSBOROUGH TO ISSUE 2 ADDITIONAL LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES TO BE DRUNK ON THE PREMISES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the town of Tyngsborough may issue to Maxamillian's, Inc. a license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises under section 12 of said chapter 138. The license shall be subject to all of said chapter 138 except said section 17. The licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of the license within 1 year after the date of issuance of the license and shall not approve the transfer, pledging or issuance of shares of stock within 1 year after the date of issuance of the license.

SECTION 2. Notwithstanding section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the town of Tyngsborough may issue to Carrabba's/New England, Limited Partnership a license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises under section 12 of said chapter 138. The license shall be subject to all of said chapter 138, except said section 17. The licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of the license within 1 year after the date of issuance of the license and shall not approve the transfer, pledging or issuance of shares of stock within 1 year after the date of the issuance of the license.
