AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF SALEM TO GRANT AN ADDITIONAL LICENSE FOR THE SALE OF WINES AND MALT BEVERAGES TO BE DRUNK ON THE PREMISES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

SECTION 1.
Notwithstanding section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the city of Salem may grant an additional license for the sale of wines and malt beverages to be drunk on the premises under section 12 of said chapter 138 to Ristorante Gioia, Inc., d/b/a Ristorante Gioia located at 140 Washington street in the city of Salem. The license shall be subject to all of said chapter 138 except section 17. The licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of the license to any other person, organization, corporation or location separate from the sale of the entire business known as Ristorante Gioia, Inc., d/b/a Ristorante Gioia.

SECTION 2.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
