AN ACT AMENDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING COUNCIL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 24 of chapter 40B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 14 and 15, the words “metropolitan district commission” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- department of conservation and recreation.
SECTION 2. Said section 24 of said chapter 40B, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 22, the words “Upon the expiration of the term of any appointed” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- The municipal appointing authority of any city or town may designate an alternate representative to serve coterminously with the representative appointed under this section. Upon the expiration of the term of any appointed or alternate.
