AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTAIN BONDS BY THE MANCHESTER ESSEX REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Manchester Essex Regional School District may issue bonds for the purpose of constructing, originally equipping and furnishing a new district high school/middle school and for site preparation, development and equipping of related outdoor athletic and recreational facilities, including costs of design and construction supervision and costs of demolition of any existing buildings necessary in connection with this construction, for a term not exceeding 25 years, without regard to the term of any temporary loan issued in anticipation of these bonds.
