AN ACT VALIDATING THE ACTIONS TAKEN AT THE ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION HELD IN THE TOWN OF SOUTHAMPTON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 10 of chapter 39 of the General Laws, or of any other general or special law or bylaw to the contrary, the votes taken by the town of Southampton at its May 7, 2007 annual town election and all actions taken pursuant thereto are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed, notwithstanding any defect or omission with regard to the warrant for the election.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
