AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE LICENSURE OF CERTAIN HEALTH PLANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
Section 14 of chapter 176G of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the second paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:-
A license granted to a health maintenance organization pursuant to this section shall be renewed every 2 years. The fee for such renewal, in an amount determined by the commissioner, shall be not less than $1,000.
