AN ACT VALIDATING THE ACTS AND PROCEEDINGS OF THE SPECIAL TOWN ELECTION IN THE TOWN OF WENHAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Nothwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, all acts and proceedings taken by the town of Wenham at the special town election held on December 17, 2009 and all actions taken pursuant thereto are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed, notwithstanding any defect or omission in posting the warrant for the election.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District may repay cash advances made on account of capital projects in fiscal year 2010 from proceeds of bonds or notes issued to pay costs of such projects in fiscal year 2011.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
