AN ACT EXEMPTING THE POSITION OF INSPECTOR OF BUILDINGS, ALSO KNOWN AS THE BUILDING COMMISSIONER, OF THE TOWN OF NATICK FROM THE CIVIL SERVICE LAW.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 19 of the acts of 1936 is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. The position of inspector of buildings, also known as building commissioner, in the town of Natick shall be exempt from chapter 31 of the General Laws.

SECTION 3. Section 1 and 2 shall not impair the civil service status of the person holding the position of inspector of buildings, also known as building commissioner, in the town of Natick on the effective date of this act.

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
