AN ACT RELATIVE TO SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERS IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF FITCHBURG.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 1 of chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the maximum age for a uniform member of the police department of the city of Fitchburg, who has been appointed as a special police officer, shall be the last day of the month that the uniform member of the department attains the age of 70.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
