AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE TOWN OF BILLERICA AS THE WILLIAM G. GREENE, JR. BRIDGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
The bridge located on George Brown street, spanning the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority rail line in the town of Billerica, shall be designated and known as the William G. Greene, Jr. bridge in honor of the commonwealth’s former state representative and dedicated public servant. The highway division of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing this designation in compliance with the standards of the department and historic preservation guidelines or statutes.
