AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE TOWN OF DALTON AS THE 2ND LT. MICHAEL J. CASEY, SR. MEMORIAL BRIDGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. The bridge No. D-01-009 on Route 8 in the town of Dalton shall be designated and known as the 2nd Lt. Michael J. Casey, Sr. Memorial Bridge, in memory of 2nd Lt. Michael J. Casey, Sr., U.S.M.C., who was killed in action in Vietnam.
SECTION 2. The division of highways of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
