AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF REVERE TO ISSUE BONDS OR NOTES FOR THE PAYMENT OF A CERTAIN LITIGATION SETTLEMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the city of Revere may issue bonds or notes for not more than 12 years to pay the costs of a litigation settlement as approved by the city council by an order adopted on September 23, 2013, which order is hereby ratified, validated and confirmed in all respects as if this act had been in effect on the date of adoption of the order.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.Approved, November 14, 2013.
