AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF BARNSTABLE TO LEASE LAND FOR USE AS A FOR-PROFIT MUSEUM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 265 of the acts of 2006 or any other general or special law to the contrary, the town of Barnstable may lease a certain parcel of land known as the Hyannis Armory, located at 225 South street, Hyannis, in the town of Barnstable, together with buildings and structures thereon, for use as a for-profit museum.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
