AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE TOWN OF FOXBOROUGH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 5 of the acts of 2004 is hereby amended by striking out section 1 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-
Section 1. The town of Foxborough shall be governed by this act. To the extent that this act is now in conflict with any general or special law including, but not limited to, chapter 46 of the acts of 1986 or the by-laws of the town of Foxborough, this act shall govern.
SECTION 2. Clause (4) of paragraph (B) of section 4 of said chapter 5 is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- The town manager shall manage and direct the daily reporting and supervision of the water and sewer department employees.
SECTION 3. The second sentence of clause (8) of said paragraph (B) of said section 4 of said chapter 5 is hereby amended by striking out the words “water and sewer employees,”.
SECTION 4. The board of selectmen of the town may take actions and enter into additional instruments and agreements as the board deems necessary to implement this act.
SECTION 5. This act shall take effect upon its passage.Approved, December 4, 2013.
