AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF FRAMINGHAM TO CONTINUE THE EMPLOYMENT OF POLICE OFFICER ROBERT TIBOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Robert Tibor, a police officer with the police department of the town of Framingham, may continue in that position until December 30, 2015 provided that he is mentally and physically capable of performing the duties of the position. If requested, Robert Tibor shall, at his own expense, be examined by an impartial physician designated by the town to determine his capacity. No further deductions shall be made from the regular compensation of Robert Tibor pursuant to chapter 32 of the General Laws for any service subsequent to December 30, 2013 and, upon retirement, Robert Tibor shall receive a superannuation retirement allowance equal to that which he would have been entitled had he retired on December 30, 2013.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
