The 193rd General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

AN ACT AUTHORIZING A CHANGE OF USE OF A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND CONVEYED BY THE COMMONWEALTH IN THE TOWN OF FALMOUTH.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to authorize a change of use of a certain parcel of land in the town of Falmouth, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

Chapter 325 of the acts of 2000 is hereby amended by adding the following section:-

Section 8. Notwithstanding section 7, for as long as the land in section 1 is used in the performance of a governmental function, the land shall not revert back to the care and control of the division of capital asset management and maintenance.

Approved, August 7, 2013.
