AN ACT LIMITING THE NUMBER OF TERMS SERVED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOLYOKE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 11 of chapter 438 of the acts of 1896, as amended by section 11 of chapter 189 of the acts of 1992, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- No member shall serve more than 3 consecutive 2-year terms as president.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect its upon passage.
