AN ACT EXEMPTING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY CERTAIN VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS IN THE CITY OF GARDNER FROM TAXATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

SECTION 1. All real property which has been and is currently owned by the Ovila Case Post 905, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Inc. shall be deemed to have been exempt from taxation in accordance with clause Fifth B of section 5 of chapter 59 of the General Laws from November 17, 1987 to December 31, 2012, inclusive.

SECTION 2. All real property which has been and is currently owned by the Gardner Post #129, American Legion, Inc., Dept. of Mass. shall be deemed to have been exempt from taxation in accordance with clause Fifth B of section 5 of chapter 59 of the General Laws from November 17, 1987 to December 31, 2012, inclusive.

SECTION 3. This act shall not exempt any veterans organization in the city of Gardner from filing with the assessors the list and statement required by section 29 of chapter 59 of the General Laws.

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
