AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF CONWAY TO CONTINUE THE EMPLOYMENT OF POLICE OFFICER DAVID JOHNSON

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
     SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, David Johnson, a police officer with the police department of the town of Conway, may continue in the position until he reaches 70 years of age or the date of his retirement or until his non-reappointment, whichever occurs first.  No further deductions shall be made from the regular compensation of David Johnson in connection with his service to the town for retirement or pension purposes under chapter 32 of the General Laws for any service subsequent to his reaching the age of 65.
     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
