AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE SQUIBNOCKET POND OVERLAY DISTRICT IN THE TOWN OF CHILMARK
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 132B of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the town of Chilmark may prohibit, in the Squibnocket Pond Overlay District as defined by the town of Chilmark, the use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, pesticides, chemical septic system cleaners and such other substances as may be determined by the board of health of the town of Chilmark.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
