AN ACT RELATIVE TO BOAT EXCISE TAX REVENUE FOR THE MATTAPOISETT WATERFRONT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 53 of chapter 44 of the General Laws, subsection (i) of section 2 of chapter 60B of the General Laws, or any other general or special law to the contrary, 100 per cent of the sums collected by the town of Mattapoisett as boat excise taxes pursuant to said chapter 60B shall be credited to the municipal waterways improvement and maintenance fund of the town of Mattapoisett, established pursuant to section 5G of chapter 40 of the General Laws, and shall be expended solely for the purpose set forth in said section 5G of said chapter 40.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
