AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION IN THE TOWN OF HARDWICK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, the parks and recreation commission in the town of Hardwick shall consist of 3 members, who shall be appointed by the board of selectmen for terms not to exceed 3 years.
SECTION 2. Any incumbent of the parks and recreation commission in the town of Hardwick serving on the effective date of this act shall continue to hold the office and perform the duties thereof until the expiration of the term for which the incumbent was elected or until the incumbent vacates the office.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
