AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE MILFORD WATER COMPANY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
Section 9 of chapter 77 of the acts of 1881 is hereby amended by striking out the last sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- The authority to purchase the franchise and property shall be granted upon the condition that the price for the purchase, either as agreed upon or determined as above, shall be accepted by the town by a 2/3 vote of the voters present and voting thereon at a meeting called for that purpose.
