AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE LANCE CORPORAL ANDREW J. ZABIEREK MEMORIAL BRIDGE IN THE TOWN OF CHELMSFORD
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
Chapter 452 of the acts of 2004 is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
Notwithstanding the first paragraph, the division of highways in the Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall place 4 signs as follows: 1 on the northbound side of interstate highway route 495, 1 on the southbound side of interstate highway route 495 and 1 attached on each side of the bridge spanning interstate highway route 495. The signs to be attached on each side of the bridge shall be visible from interstate highway route 495. Each sign shall be marked “Lance Corporal Andrew J. Zabierek Memorial Bridge”, “Purple Heart” and shall include the Purple Heart emblem and the seal of the commonwealth.
