AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE CITY OF BOSTON AS THE PFC ALVIN RICHARD GALE MEMORIAL BRIDGE

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
     Bridge number B-16-108 on West street spanning the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and AMTRAK railroad tracks in the Hyde Park section of the city of Boston shall be designated and known as the PFC Alvin Richard Gale Memorial Bridge, in memory of Alvin Richard Gale, in recognition of his service to his country and his ultimate sacrifice in the Vietnam War.  The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker on the bridge bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
