AN ACT RELATIVE TO AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING TRUST IN THE TOWN OF DUXBURY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 112 of the acts of 2005 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. Assets contained in the Affordable Housing Trust Fund established by the town of Duxbury pursuant to chapter 112 of the acts of 2005 on the effective date of this act shall be transferred to the trust fund established by the town of Duxbury pursuant to section 55C of chapter 44 of the General Laws and known as the Town of Duxbury Affordable Housing Trust.
SECTION 3. Payments received by the town of Duxbury and designated for the Affordable Housing Trust Fund established pursuant to chapter 112 of the acts of 2005 may be applied to the Town of Duxbury Affordable Housing Trust referenced in section 2.
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
