AN ACT RELATIVE TO CERTAIN ELECTIONS IN THE CITY OF NEWTON
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. The second sentence of subsection (a) of section 8-3 of article 8 of the charter of the city of Newton, as appearing in section 1 of chapter 152 of the acts of 2008, is hereby amended by striking out the words “, which shall be a Tuesday”.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
