AN ACt AUTHORIZING THE CHANGE OF USE OF CERTAIN PARK LAND IN THE TOWN OF SOUTH HADLEY

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
     SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of South Hadley may change the use of a certain parcel of land fronting in part on Bardwell street and Gaylord street which was conveyed to the town for use as part of the library premises or as park property, and described in a deed dated March 26, 1923, recorded in the Hampshire county registry of deeds in book 790, page 27.  The land may be used for general municipal purposes, including resale.
     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
