AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE CITY OF BOSTON AS THE HONORABLE ARTHUR J. LEWIS, JR. BRIDGE

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
     Bridge B-16-181(4EN) on the West Roxbury parkway in the West Roxbury section of the city of Boston shall be designated and known as the Honorable Arthur J. Lewis, Jr. Bridge in honor of Arthur J. Lewis, Jr. who served in the Massachusetts house of representatives for the Eighth Suffolk District from 1967 to 1972 and in the Massachusetts senate for the First Suffolk and Norfolk District from 1973 to 1991. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing this designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
