AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF WESTON TO TRANSFER CERTAIN PARCELS OF RECREATION LAND FROM THE RECREATION COMMISSION TO THE CONSERVATION COMMISSION.

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Weston may transfer and convey 2 parcels of land located off Highland street from the recreation commission, held for recreation purposes, to the conservation commission to be held and dedicated for conservation purposes. Both parcels are described in a deed dated April 8, 1970 and recorded in the Middlesex southern district registry of deeds in book 11818, page 489 and identified on a plan dated November 19, 1969, recorded in the Middlesex southern registry of deeds as plan 293 of 1970, one being a parcel identified as Lot C on the plan, containing 0.30 acres, more or less, and shown on assessors’ map 37 as lot 10_20, and the other being a parcel identified as Lot D on the plan, containing 4.70 acres, more or less, and shown on assessors’ map 37 as lot 10_30.
     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
