AN ACT MAKING A CORRECTIVE CHANGE FOR A CERTAIN RESERVE FUND IN THE TOWN OF HINGHAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
Chapter 479 of the acts of 2014 is hereby amended by striking out the first paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:-
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the school committee of the town of Hingham may establish a reserve fund to be utilized in any fiscal year by the committee to pay, without further appropriation, for unanticipated, unbudgeted or extraordinary costs of special education, out-of-district tuition and transportation. The committee may appropriate or transfer, in any fiscal year, from the school department budget in order to fund the reserve fund.
