The 193rd General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE CITY OF FALL RIVER AS THE TOM TETRAULT BRIDGE.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate forthwith a certain bridge in the city of Fall River as the Tom Tetrault Bridge, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
Bridge No. F-02-091 on Country Club road spanning the Massachusetts Department of Transportation railroad tracks in the city of Fall River shall be designated and known as the Tom Tetrault Bridge in honor of Tom Tetrault, the head professional at Fall River Country Club in the city of Fall River from 1975 to 2011 and a member of the hall of fame of New England Section Professional Golfers Association of America, Inc. The division of highways within the Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing this designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
