AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN INTERSECTION IN THE TOWN OF PLAINVILLE AS THE SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER MIKE O. MAHER MEMORIAL INTERSECTION
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
The intersection of the access road to the Plainridge Park Casino and United States highway route 1 in the town of Plainville shall be designated and known as the Special Police Officer Mike O. Maher memorial intersection, in memory of Plainville special police officer Mike O. Maher, who was killed in the line of duty. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
