AN ACT VALIDATING THE ACTIONS TAKEN AT THE ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION HELD IN THE TOWN OF BLANDFORD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 10 of chapter 39 of the General Laws or any other general or special law or town by-law to the contrary, all acts, proceedings and votes taken by the town of Blandford at its annual town election on May 7, 2016, and all actions taken pursuant to it and in reliance on it, are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed to the same extent as if the annual town election had been held on the date required by the town by-laws for such an election and the warrant for it had been signed and posted in accordance with law.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
