AN ACT AUTHORIZING QUINCY COLLEGE TO CONFER BACCALAUREATE DEGREES.

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows: 
     SECTION 1.  The board of governors of Quincy College may grant baccalaureate degrees, subject to the review and approval of the board of higher education pursuant to clause (a) of section 9 of chapter 15A of the General Laws. For the purpose of the review and approval process pursuant to said clause (a) of said section 9 of said chapter 15A, Quincy College shall only be assessed the fees and costs which are assessed to public institutions of higher education.
     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
