AN ACT FURTHER REGULATING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE TRUSTEES OF THE PUBLIC LIBRARY OF THE CITY OF BOSTON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of chapter 114 of the acts of 1878, as appearing in section 1 of chapter 157 of the acts of 1994, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 1, the word “nine” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- not more than 15.
SECTION 2. Said section 3 of said chapter 114, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 5, the words “one member” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- not more than 7 members.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
