AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE AUTHORITY OF THE TOWN ADMINISTRATOR OF THE TOWN OF HARVARD.

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general law to the contrary, the board of selectmen of the town of Harvard may delegate its authority to the town administrator to approve payroll and vendor warrants on behalf of the board. In the absence of the town administrator, the warrants shall be approved by a member of the board of selectmen.
     SECTION 2. Except as provided in this act, nothing in this act shall affect the authority, duties and terms of office of any appointed or elected official of the town of Harvard.
     SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
