The 193rd General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE CONNECTING THE TOWNS OF BEDFORD AND CARLISLE AS THE HART-DESIATO BRIDGE.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate forthwith a certain bridge connecting the towns of Bedford and Carlisle, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

Bridge number B04002 on state highway route 225 spanning the Concord river and connecting the towns of Bedford and Carlisle shall be designated and known as the Hart-Desiato bridge in honor of Private First Class John Hart and Marine Lance Corporal Travis Desiato. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker and a memorial plaque on the bridge bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
