AN ACT AMENDING THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF LYNNFIELD RELATIVE TO THE DATE OF HOLDING THE REGULAR ELECTION
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 6 of the charter of the town of Lynnfield, which is on file in the office of the archivist of the commonwealth as provided in section 12 of chapter 43B of the General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out paragraph 6-1-1 and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:-
6-1-1 The regular election for all town offices shall be by official ballot held on the second Tuesday in April of each year.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
