AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF LEOMINSTER TO PAY A CERTAIN UNPAID BILL
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the failure of the city of Leominster to comply with the laws relative to procurement and competitive bidding in awarding the contract, the comptroller of the city of Leominster may pay, from sums appropriated, an unpaid bill incurred by the city in the amount of $23,495.13 to D/E Corporation of Leominster for HVAC services provided to the city in connection with the city-owned building at 37 Carter street.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
