AN ACT EXEMPTING BRIAN M. BELFIORE FROM CIVIL SERVICE MAXIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION OF FIREFIGHTER IN THE CITY OF HAVERHILL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary regulating the maximum age of applicants for appointment as firefighter in the city of Haverhill, Brian M. Belfiore of said city shall be eligible for certification and appointment to the position of firefighter if he meets all other requirements. The grade Brian M. Belfiore received on the March, 2018 firefighter examination may be used to determine his eligibility for that position.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
