AN ACT RELATIVE TO ACCIDENTAL DISABILITY RETIREMENT FOR JAN WITKOWSKI.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith accidental disability retirement benefits for Jan Witkowski, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
Notwithstanding the notice requirements in subsection (1) of section 7 of chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, Jan Witkowski, a retired member of the Massport Employees’ Retirement System, shall be eligible to seek an accidental disability retirement pursuant to section 7 of chapter 32 of the General Laws.
